The Tyler family was the name of a relatively small family in Manchester during the 20th Century and the early 21st Century. Two of the most recognised members of the Tyler family was Sam Tyler, who was a Detective Chief Inspector of the Greater Manchester Police who fell into a deep coma in 2006 and his father Vic Tyler who went by the alias "The Morton brothers".
