Synopsis[edit | edit source]
After a wild birthday party for Ray at the precinct, Sam receives a weird phone call that states he has until two o'clock to pull out of his coma before the doctor will pull the plug, just as his watch commander walks in with a hostage situation at a local hospital, where the terrorists demands a dangerous operation be performed on the guy's brother.
Notes[edit | edit source]
- This episode is an adaptation of the sixth episode of the British version of the series. The overall plot of Sam learning he is about to be taken off life support is similar, but the setting of the hostage situation is changed from a newspaper office to a hospital. The US version also adds Maya breaking up with Sam, an event that occurs in the sixth episode of the British series' second season.
