Brother Lovebutter was the name given to a female broadcaster/announcer of a Black Liberation Army radio station. To communicate with the listeners more easily, she deepened her voice to sound like a male. After the suspected murder of 9 year old Keisha Davies, she became heavily involved in the reporting of the incident between the African-American community and the Puerto Rican community.
